@Callum08,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

The upgraded 14th gen Intel Processor heatsink part number you need for your HP Z2 Mini G9 Workstation is: N08721-001 "SPS-HEATSINK CPU 125W Z2G9 Mini" as well as: N09324-001 "SPS-Thermal Pad Heatsink Kit Z2 G9 Mini".

[EDIT:] And possibly part number: N08722-001 "SPS-Fan CPU Blower 125W Z2G9 Mini".

The 125-watt heatsink is available for purchase -at least in the US, and is listed at $158.13, but "on backorder" in the United Kingdom for £108.76.

I did it it took ages for the parts to come but straight swap when they did , the blower and heat sink was swapped and now the bios is happy and runs error free , fans are louder than before tho

All right -sounds like your compatibility CPU cooler issue has been resolved!

as the HP 125 watt cooler appears to be hard to source as of this post

you might be able to install a Noctua NH-U12A if space permits

the noctua coolers fan header might need modifying

to allow it to tell the HP motherboard a High Performance cooler is installed
