Using the Microsoft Windows PC Healthcheck tool I.m told the My processor is not supported
(Dual Intel Xeon CPU ES-2687w v4 3.00GHz)
This PC doesn't currently meet

Hopefully its possible to turn on secure boot if that is truly important
ditto ... with TMP 2.0
Have other users here installed windows 11 pro successfully on HP Z840 ?
Has anyone had experience with the items mentioned above?

Even if you can update the TPM firmware to 2.0 and enable secure boot, the processors don't meet Microsoft's minimum W11 Intel processor requirements because they are not on the list at the link below:

See this link for how to update your PC's TPM firmware to 2.0:

I've attached HPs instructions for how to update the firmware, below.
Enabling secure boot.
You can only do that if W10 is installed in UEFI mode.
Watch this video for how to determine that and if W10 is not installed in UEFI Mode you can convert the file system to GPT and then enable secure boot.

Last but not least, you don't have to do any of those things to upgrade to W11, but it would be better if you can.
You can upgrade to W11, but you would have to use a workaround that bypasses the W11 hardware checks.
If you are happy with your PC, and if you are interested in installing W11 24H2 via an in-place upgrade on your PC as is, watch this video, which is the easiest way to do it in my opinion, and I have tried many different ways to do this during the last 3 years.
