Managing HP Thinpro 5 Endpoints in HPDM 5.0.6 - Error 14004022

I am curious, can I use the existing 4.6 (SP4) to update the Thin Clients? I inherited this environment and don't know about managing the Thin Clients (yet). If I can how do I go about it?

If you are just planning to manage the ThinPro 5 unit, yes you can do it. However if you plan to update the OS to latest you will have to move to higher HPDM version. HPDM 4.6 is more than a decade old and not sure if it would even support ThinPro 6.  Even HPDM 4.7 with SP18 should support only up to ThinPro 7.1.  If you plan to update t520 with latest available updates you may have to install ThinPro 7.1 at least.

Thanks! I am trying to update the t520's so I can manage them in HPDM 5.x , I need to get off 4.x - 

If I wanted to "push" the update to the device how is that done? I can send updates etc. but where do I tell it to install the updated version? Do I need to download, then stage, then send an update to the device - 

I hope that makes sense -

To send the update, select the Thin Client., right click on it, select the option "Send Task". The default templates should start with "_TemplateName"
