I want to buy 8gb memory for hp proliant ML v2, but not sure which is correct

I purchased one module, but did not work.

Can you help me?

Hi:

 

HP split into two companies a few years ago.

 

HP supports printers, pc's, tablets and calculators

 

HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers, and tape drives.

is this your server?  if so note the memory specs listed

 

32GB max ram  using 4 x 8GB (HP smart memory UDIMM) DDR3 1333 modules, which means  Unbuffered with ECC
