Rusidtz,

Thanks for the note, I'll try to get this posted on thingiverse. It would be the first thing I've shared that way, so it may take a day or two to figure it out.

SDH, the magic, or burden of having a few 3D printers around is that I realize after searching for days for something that I can make it myself.

I made a dummy which was as close as I could come to getting the dimensions right, then fitted it into the case and measured for final.

I got it right on the next design iteration and that's what's in the rendering.  It must work  because temps shown on Psensor (I run mostly on Linux) are all comfortable evenwhen I'm beating up the Nvidia 1070X.

Hi John,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this! I really appreciate the effort you put into getting the dimensions right and making sure it works well. It’s great to hear that your temps are solid even under load.

I’ll go ahead and print it soon, and I’ll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again for your help and for sharing it on Thingiverse!

Best,
Faruk

BROTHER! I have bought every front fan config I could find for my z2 g4 workstation with no avail. I stumbled across this thread and oh my I just want to say thank you! I'm going to have my neighbor print this up for me.

I printed mine in PETG but I'm sure PLA will be ok, too.  Tell him to print the little bushings solid infill and remember that the screw threads on the HP case are 6-32 pitch.  the case iteself doesn't get any real structural loads so 30 % infill should work fine.
