Hi, @larrycharlesb

There are no drivers for for those devices for Windows Server 2016.

You have to use what's available.

As I had written...manually install the driver if the auto install doesn't work.

You can follow the guidance that @John_McClane posted above for how to do that.

You can use the free 7-Zip file utility for that purpose.

7-Zip

Install 7-zip.

Right click on the driver file you downloaded.  Select 7-Zip from the list of items on the menu.

Have 7-Zip 'extract to" and let it extract the file into its folder name.

Then go to the device manager.  Click on the device needing the driver.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the Browse my computer for drivers option, and browse to the driver folder that 7-zip created.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver will install.

I checked both files I gave you and they have driver support for the hardware ID's you posted.

cp029664.exe

[HewlettPackard.NTamd64]

[HewlettPackard.NTx86.5]
%DeviceDesc% = CpqCiDrv_5, PCI\VEN_0E11&DEV_B204&SUBSYS_B2060E11
%DeviceDesc% = CpqCiDrv_5, PCI\VEN_0E11&DEV_B204&SUBSYS_3304103C
%DeviceDesc% = CpqCiDrv_5, PCI\VEN_0E11&DEV_B204&SUBSYS_3305103C

cp029666.exe

[Manufacturer]
%HP_MFG% = HPDevices, NTx86, NTamd64

[HPDevices.NTamd64] ; Windows Server 2003 x64 and Windows Server 2008 x64
%HPQILO2.DESC% = hpqilo2, PCI\VEN_103C&DEV_3302&SUBSYS_3305103C
%LEGACY.DESC% = null_driver, PCI\VEN_0E11&DEV_B203&SUBSYS_3305103C

Hi:

For the first device you need this driver...

For the second device, you need this driver...

You can manually install the drivers if the auto install method doesn't work.

I tried both of those but they are not compatible since I am using Server 2016.

Can you point to the one compatible with 2016?

@Larrycharlesb,

Try this :

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Business-PCs-Workstations-and-Point-of-Sale-Systems/Re-Missing-Base-Sy...

For anyone trying to install the "HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out Management Interface Driver" on Windows Server 2016, when I tried to run the installer I got the error message: "The OS is not supported."

So, instead of clicking install, click extract and extract the contents to a folder.

Then, from device manager, right click the device, "update driver software", "Browse my computer for driver software" and select the folder that the package was extracted to.

This installed the driver correctly.

Google is my friend !  😉
