HI community,

I've got to publish our CA certificate chain via HPDM to outr Thinclients. The Thinpro Version is 8, the HPDM Version is 5.0.3610.

Our old HPDM was perfectly working with a File and Registry-Task.

Two subtasks: 1) Copy xxxx.cer to /usr/local/share/ca-certificates 2) Script: hptc-cert-mgr

Thats all.

But now the certificates won't register in the new environment. The copy job works, the script is starting. But it only opens the certificate GUI. No automatic import. If i copy the certificates to /media i can import them by hand.

The switch "-apply" for hptc-cert-mgr has no effect. Any help commands for hptc-cert-mgr were not successful.

So I don't know what do do.

Any help 🐵 ?

Thanks a lot, Jens

Hi.

I found an alternative way to push the certificates.

Via Profile Editor.

I installed the certificates by hand and run a 'Capture Profile' Task via HPDM.

If you push this profile all certificates are installed.

You can find them in the profile editor , section 'files' under writable/user/local/share/ca-certificates

But nevertheless I'am interested to know the 'right way' to push/add new certificates.
