Ya i know all these things but the thing is these psu's are now 9 years old and i know atx wont fit the chassis but the internal parts would still fit in the psu it self

based on your posts, my guess is that you do not have the knowledge required to rewire the z800's power supply outputs using a ATX supply 

 

either have the existing supply repaired or replaced as "SDH" has previously recommended, or buy a premade adapter that converts the non z800 non standard 18 pin to work with a ATX supply going this route requires a "EATX style" case to hold the z800 motherboard which is not cheap

 

attempting to make a z800 pwr adapter yourself is not a beginner's project and also keep in mind if using a adapter, the ATX supply must be a single rail design 1000 watt or better which will cost about the same as replacing the existing z800 supply with a working replacement
