HP has removed the document with the instructions for how to do that.

I was able to pretty much copy the instructions from the webpage before HP removed it and attached it below.

Here are the links to the TPM update info and exe files:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81900.html

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81900.exe

I upgraded my HP Elitedesk 800 G3's TPM 1.2 security chip to 2.0 using the instructions and the exe file.

This upgrade is not going to make your PC meet the W11 hardware requirements because none of the processors in the 400 G4 model series are supported by Microsoft for W11, and you will have to use a workaround to install W11.

You can upgrade the PC to W11 without updating the TPM to 2.0.

I can provide help with that if you are interested in installing W11 on your PC.

I gave you all of the information above and that HP sp81900 file link I posted has the TPM BIN file.

SoftPaq Contents (sp81900): This softpaq contains the following:

  • HP TPM Configuration Utility version 1.0.6.1

    - TPMConfig.exe for 32-bit OS
    - TPMConfig64.exe for 64-bit OS
  • Common Criteria (CC) certified TPM FW BIN files

    - TPM12_6.40.190.0_to_TPM12_6.43.243.0.BIN
    - TPM12_6.40.190.0_to_TPM20_7.62.3126.0.BIN
    - TPM12_6.41.197.0_to_TPM12_6.43.243.0.BIN
    - TPM12_6.41.197.0_to_TPM20_7.62.3126.0.BIN
    - TPM12_6.41.198.0_to_TPM12_6.43.243.0.BIN
    - TPM12_6.41.198.0_to_TPM20_7.62.3126.0.BIN
    - TPM12_6.43.243.0_to_TPM20_7.62.3126.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.40.2098.0_to_TPM12_6.43.243.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.40.2098.0_to_TPM20_7.62.3126.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.41.2375.0_to_TPM12_6.43.243.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.41.2375.0_to_TPM20_7.62.3126.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.60.2677.0_to_TPM12_6.43.243.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.60.2677.0_to_TPM20_7.62.3126.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.61.2785.0_to_TPM12_6.43.243.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.61.2785.0_to_TPM20_7.62.3126.0.BIN
    - TPM20_7.62.3126.0_to_TPM12_6.43.243.0.BIN

You need to read the instructions so you can figure out which file you need.

There is more than one depending on what the report you have to run indicates.

Sorry, but I can't help you anymore than that.
