Product: HP Z800
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have buy new Xeons 5590 for the HP Z800, some say the normal CPU heatsinks are good cooling systems ist this correct?

sigh,.... HP makes two diffrent heatsinks and power supplies  for a reasion

 

the stock heatsink has 2 heatpipes is rated for 95watts max and is smaller in size than the performance heatsink

 

the performance heatsink has 3 heatpipes and is larger in size with a larger fan and is rated for 130 watt cpu's and may require the upgraded pwr supply depending on cpu's ,drives installed, ram config,  and pci-e cards installed

 

the 150 watt cpu's require the z800 liquid cooling kit and the upgraded 1110 watt power supply
