Dear Community,
And why the hell not, decided to up the ante a smidgen to upgrade the processor in this HP Pavilion 590-p0030 system from an Intel Core i5-9600KF (6-Cores, 6-Threads, 3.70 GHz up to 4.60 GHz, 95-watt TDP) to the mighty Intel Core i9-9900KF (8-Cores, 16-Threads, 3.60 GHz up to 5.00 GHz, 95-watt TDP): HP Pavilion Desktop 590-p0xxx Performance Results - UserBenchmark: and the Bench results speaks for itself.
Based on every Userbenchmark metric -specifically Gaming (105%) "UFO", Desktop (100%) "Nuclear Submarine" and Workstation (103%) "UFO", my HP Pavilion 590-p0xxx should easily occupy the #1 spot, but for reason(s) unknown, it does not -see and compare for yourself.

Here are some additional benchmark results:
PassMark: https://www.passmark.com/baselines/V11/display.php?id=285102700022
NovaBench: https://novabench.com/result/5eead73d-d89c-4748-8e64-1eea9ffb8c12
3DMark DX12:
And with these satisfactory bench results, I conclude this HP Pavilion 590-p0030 upgrade project.
This thread will remain 'active' for a while longer, and if I can think of anything else upgrade-wise, I'll post it.
Any observations, suggestions, proposals, etc. are welcome!
Warm Regards,

And I haven't forgotten to provide a price breakdown of the final components I used in this system upgrade. I'll add it in this post sometime this week.

nice,...... one of your best upgrade posts.
i believe this post is a stellar example of what can be done to give more life to a older pc and unlike some of your other posts this one is extremely practical and allows viewers to determine if they want to perhaps undertake a similar project themselves as a hobbyist project
unlike some of the other upgrade projects you have done that had case cutting and external power supplies/video cards this project is something that just about anyone can do just using basic tools ending up with a system that is suitable for a wide range of usage that is suitable for placement in just about any location

And I had not forgotten about your price-breakdown upgrade request.
Final Recommendation for Least Expensive Upgrade:
The cheapest powerful combo via eBay Sellers:
RAM: Buy one more 8GB DDR4-2666 (Samsung-compatible) ~$19
SSD: Add 500 GB M.2 NVMe SSD (Netac) ~$33
CPU: Upgrade to i5-8400 ~$40
GPU: Slot-powered RTX 3050 ~$130 (estimate)
→ Total around $225 for a significant performance leap.
Mind you, this is not what I spend on this particular upgrade project (more than 4x that amount, mainly because of the Intel Core i9-9900KF: ~$210 and RTX 5070: ~$650).
Look, the intent of my upgrade projects has never been to create something better for the least amount of money. My intent is to build the most bad@ss HP office PCs were few -if any, have gone before. Any Wanna-Be upgrader can take from my upgrade projects whatever they want, or what their budget (and imagination) allows.
Kind Regards,
NonSequitur777
