ProDesk 405
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need more RAM. There are 2 PCs.  One has 2GB; the other has 4GB.  It's not enough.  I don't know what Ram needs to be added.

@StanF36, welcome to the forum.

Here is the memory that is recommended by Crucial Memory:

http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-prodesk-405-g1-tower

http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-prodesk-405-g2-mt

Since I wasn't certain which is your version of the ProDesk 405, I gave you a link to both versions.  Make certain to choose the correct one.

Crucial makes very good, reliable memory.  Since the memory is so inexpensive, I suggest buying all new memory so there is no conflict with the old and new memory.

I have HP 110-408 desktop. Does this advice apply to me?

I do have the factory installed DDR3L  (2GB and 4GB)  Pentium Processor J2900 64 bit

So what 4GB memory card do I need? Apparently there are 2 types?

@BENDER78, welcome to the forum.

It would be better if you started your own thread.  This thread was ended in 2016.  Before you start your thread, please assure that the model is correct.  I can't find the 110-408.
