Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and older

I need assistance on a HP Proliant DL180 G9 server. I can access F9, F11 and F12 on server boot-up but F10 for Intelligent Provisioning does nothing. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi @NicoUng

Verify that you have the F10 key active

Enabling or disabling the Intelligent Provisioning F10 prompt | UEFI System Utilities User Guide for...

Procedure

  1. From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Server Security > Intelligent Provisioning (F10 Prompt) and press Enter.
  2. Select a setting and press Enter.
    1. Enabled
    2. Disabled
  3. Press F10.

Thanks for the guidance. F10 was enabled as per guidance but still nothing happens when pressing the F10 key. Anymore suggestions? Maybe firmware?

Thanks

You should verify that you have iLo installed.

Afternoon

I have upgraded the Bios firmware to U20 v3.40 08/29/2024 but still when selecting F10 - Intelligent Provisioning nothing happens, and server goes to option to boot from the network. I have also reset the server to "Manufacturer Default Settings" but still cannot access F10 to setup raid on disks or any other option.

Any further assistance available.

Thanks
