I got a z600 workstation around june and turned it into a gaming computer by putting a gtx 780 into it and while im gaming the computer would randomly turn off and i figured out 1 part was temperatures and fixed that by putting fans on it be then after that cleaned out and still shuts down.

you may be exceeding the z600's stock 600 watt power supply ratings you may need to use a adapter to convert the supply to a ATX based unit
the nvidia 780gtx draws a bit over 250 watts, and this is more than the stock supply is rated for
