As in title: is there any way to turn off blinking front LED while Z820 is in a sleep mode?

If your sleep blinks are a slow constant-interval type then no, to my knowledge, other than detaching that LED's power feeding towards the front power button.

There is an option in BIOS to have the blinks differentiating types of sleep, and those are more irritating to me.  I turn that "feature" off in BIOS if it is on.  I don't mind the other slower constant-interval type of blinks.

Hi ManWithCamera,

If it's irritating you, then why not simply stick a piece of black electrical tape over the power button? Simple and easy to remove later if needed.

Hello SDH

where is that option in BIOS? I have latest BIOS but cannot find it.

Detaching or covering LED is not an option for me - I'd like to have possibility to SEE whether my computer is on

F10 into BIOS/ Power tab/ OS Power Management/ Unique Sleep State Blink Rates/ Disable

Wow! I didn't expect Z820 to be a Christmas tree lights controller 😁
