Hi,

Im trying to run the "extensive memory test" with 64gb RAM. Using HP UEFI diagnostics boot software with latest version that I downloaded and installed yesterday.

Im wondering, is this supposed to take like 10 hours ?

Last night I left it running, came back 2,5 hours later and it was about 35% done. I aborted the test then.

Is this normal?

It can take multiple hours..... says right there.  Longer with more memory and slower processor.  It won't hurt anything..... just fire it off before going to bed and it will be done in the morning.  Worth doing.....

I was hoping some knowledgeable person could share their personal experience in this matter, do I have a faulty system somehow or are testing times like that normal.

Thanks,
