It's not really an option though as we don't build our PC's from USB flash drives, they are all deployed via WDS.
I have all the relevant drivers in WDS I just can't click or press anything to get that image to kick off.

This is what I have been doing with the EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF builds and it works perfectly well after imaging and the USB3 drivers are installed.
Unfortunately this still doesn't help me with the 800 G2 Mini as there are no PS2 ports which means I am unable to kick off my WDS builds (no mouse or keyboard clicks allowed)
Surely someone else has run into this problem?

I've already done that - injected the USB3 drivers directly from HP's SoftPaq Download Manager utility and rebuilt the Win7 iso but it still doesn't help, they aren't installed on booting from the NIC into the WDS build process.

I've never used WDS so I don't really know how it works. However, I think you need to determine whether the problem is on the ISO or WDS.
If you have time you could try run that ISO you rebuilt on a DVD, make it bootable and manually test it on another machine.
Do you get the USB3 drivers installed? If not then for some reason WDS is not doing what is supposed to do.

Hi Everybody!I'm new in this forum but I've the same problem of USB with my Elite desktop 800G2 Mini.- no PS2 port, only USB.
It's new ,I enabled USB on BIOS but after OS booting ,USB keyboard and mouse don't work.
Did anyone solve this issue? I cannot work...:smileysad:
Thanks for all .

We were having the same issue, using an x86 boot image.
Added all of the WinPE 3.0 drivers from:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_WinPE_DriverPack.html
After adding all of the drivers into our WDS boot image we were then able to use the mouse and keyboard, after PXE booting to WDS, to start the installation.
I hope that helps.
