i think i have an answer... dont shoot me if it doesn't work for you.

i was using win7 32 iso with a sandisk 32gb flash drive.

i also got stuck at the at the country selection - with no mouse or keyboard working.

i was using a tool called NTlite, that can inject drivers into an iso.

i tried just about every USB3 driver set i could find, none worked.

i started to suspect NTlite was not injecting the drivers.

so i started to google how to inject the drivers manully.

i came across this website.

i followed the pretty simple step by step guide...

Bingo.. it now boots win7 32 with the keyboard and mouse.

Hi guys,

in our environment we had the same problem, because our engineers get new PCs.
I was looking for best solution for us for OS Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise, test many options but the game with images & drivers was not good options. In the end we chose for this options:

1.) Create WindowsImageBackup to network drive or hard drive
2.) If you need any driver (in my case I need network driver), copy them to SATA hard drive. Important: NOT USB external drive, but 'classic' SATA drive.
2.) Open Tower Elitedesk 800 G2, plug in this SATA hard drive, where you have drivers. Again: DO NOT USE USB EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE!
3.) Turn PC on and Boot Windows from DVD
4.) Chose options "Repair your computer"
5.) Add drivers (in my case I need network driver because WindowsImageBackup was on network hard drive )
6.) Re-Image your System
7.) Sysprep
8.) Update drivers, ofcourse!

Thats all .

I think, this is the most fast way how to get Windows 7 to Elitedesk 800 G2.

Best regards

Look at the powershell. This worked for me and I tried everything. I think it may have been the boot.wim part index 1 and 2 needed drivers injected. I was using HP 800 G2 35W. I actually got it working with Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2.

Remember you have to relax security to run PS1 scripts on Windows 10.  If using to create the ISO's

Thanks for the help from everybody on here.

The Intel driver "injector" hung on me everytime.

Hi - The "Hopefully Windows 7 will install part" gets me here....

It didn't work for me. I have a customer with an HP ProDesk 600 G3 SFF, factory supplied with Windows 7 that needs a Windows 7 re-install. The restore disk provided by HP boots but is stuck at the language selection as described in this thread.

I created a USB Windows 7 Install USB using the HP Restore disk and used the Intel driver injector to add the USB 3.0 support but it didn't work.

Is there a better answer than "hopefully it works"?

Like a sure-fire solution.
