I acquired this model tower and wanted to install the O/S on an SSD...and still use an HDD for storage. MY Question is: how to identify which of the SATA ports do I use to connect the SSD, HDD and the DVD+/-RW Drive/
Have tried searching everywhere for a detailed image or text asserting how the SATA ports are numbered...cannot find any suitable info...
Seeking help here folks!

Hi:
See the service manual, chapter 1, page 6 for the system board info.
SATA ports are labeled 0, 1, 2, 3. 5.
You connect the SSD to port 0 and the drive to be used for storage to port 1.

also note that a PCI-E SSD/HD or motherboard M.2 based SSD will usually be enumerated (shown in the bios boot list) after the devices connected to the motherboards SATA ports
so if booting from PCI-E/M.2 you may have to manually adjust the bios's boot order of found devices so you selected device is first in the list
