You can go into BIOS to see what version is installed.  If you don't know how to get into BIOS then you should not be trying to update BIOS.  Get a shop that knows what they are doing to take care of this for you.

 

You don't want to risk ruining a good workstation by trying to do something so fundamental as this without proper skills.

About the HP Z440/Z640/Z840 Workstations BIOS Utilities for Windows UPDATE

 

Is old from 2015, Wherein BIOS can see if this is ALREADY INSTALLED...? I KNOW WELL BIOS/UEFI

 

How do I know if is done already for this PC...?

Since it is that old, it probably is already installed, so I would not install at this time.

Here is the manual for the workstation.  Look it over and read about the Z 440 workstation and all the info concerning the BIOS and updating.
