Since it is that old, it probably is already installed, so I would not install at this time.
Here is the manual for the workstation. Look it over and read about the Z 440 workstation and all the info concerning the BIOS and updating.

Just to clarify, but some additional instructions. The link in the original post does have some additional tidbits.
Looking at the screenshot that is posted, there are some more things listed if the slider under the "Description" and "Fix and enhancements" is pulled down - there is a "See full details". Click on that and there is another page that opens. Click on "Installation instructions" for how to proceed with the install.
1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved).
2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files to C:\SWSETUP\SP114032.
3. Select "Launch HPBIOSUPDREC" under "Windows BIOS Flashing". Alternatively, the BIOS binary file is located in the following directory: C:\SWSETUP\SP114032\HPBIOSUPDREC\M60.0257.bin
4. Copy the binary from C:\SWSETUP\SP114032\HPBIOSUPDREC\M60.0257.bin to the following directory on the USB key: [Drive Letter:]
5. Insert the USB key into the workstation that is to be updated and reboot or boot the unit to the Startup menu by pressing Esc during POST (before the OS loads).
6. Use the arrow keys to select the "Flash System Bios" option. Follow the prompts to update the BIOS.

The BIOS Utilities listed here
Following the same instructions as above to find the install instructions only on the above link
instructions
- BiosConfigUtility.exe uses Windows-1252 (ANSI). In Windows, you can use Notepad to convert between formats: select File, Save as... and set Encoding to "ANSI"
- UefiBiosConfig.efi is a UEFI application
- CustomLogoApp is a UEFI application
1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved).
2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions (Windows Only).

It appears to be. I have not actually seen one of those for HP.

So you mean, for HP Z440 is the same, start the BIOS update From Windows10 and continue to restart the PC...? I POSTED IN FORUMS BUT Say use a USB stick, both methods are valid...?

The USB method in step 3 is if you want to do the BIOS update outside of Windows. It will flash from inside Windows if you Select "Launch HPBIOSUPDREC". I would not expect a different end result no matter which way it is done.
"Back in the day" all BIOS flashing was done in a non-Windows environment but the newer updates will allow it to be done while starting in Windows. The PC has to reboot (start up again) no matter anyways, in order for the update to become valid.
