z600/800 alternatives to normal/performance heatsinks

Dear all,

It passed quite a while since the firsts z600/800s have been released and I was wondering, are there alternative models of  heatsinks (not necessary from hp) that would fit and can be used (with minor updates) without compromising the performance and the life of the cpu/mobo/psu/etc?

Why I'm asking this: (1) it seems to be very difficult to get performance heatsinks; (2) anyway they are fewer (performance) than the "market" demands now; (3) it seems the size of the heatsinks and their attached coolers have to comply very rigid criterias;

the z800 (can't speak for the other models) have a very limited space for the heatsinks, due to the unique size of them it's almost impossible to use any 3rd party or other model HP heatsinks on the z800 while keeping the factory shrouds for the cpu's and memory module area

note, make sure the heatsink you select is the SQUARE and not the ILM (narrow) type

it can be done in theory using any 2011 cooler that is close in size to the hp units, but it will require skill in modding the HP shrouds to accommodate the aftermarket coolers
