Downloading SuperSave software to a HP Portable Disk

Disk was compromised and was reformatted. This removed the SimpleSave software module. I am now seeking a link from which to download and re-install the SuperSave software to the disk.

I understand that you have reformatted your HP SimpleSave Hard drive and now you need to reinstall the SuperSave Software.

I'd like to help.

Please go to this Link and under “Install Guides, Manuals, and Downloads”. Select your drive model and then go to the “software downloads” section for complete instructions.

You can refer to Page 4 in this User-Manual

KrazyToad: Thank you for the response. The link to  http://hpsupport.wdc.com/  is inactive. It is the same link referred to on P4 of the Manual. Is there an alternative? Thanks. Zulu99

I see that the Link provided is not responding. I would request you to contact our Phone Support and they should be able to assist you with the SimpleSave software.

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect 
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.
