Acrobat Reader DC
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)
It is a long time since I have used Adobe but now I don't appear to be able to do anything. I have a tree files as a PDF format. I cannot open them because the following error: File does not begin with %PDF.
(I tried Acrobat Reader DC but that appears to be a professional users software and requires a subscription to use it).
Anyone else seen this error?

Thanks.

Hi,

You have use the registry editing tool to make the suggested changes. If you are using Windows OS, Windows Key -> Run -> Enter "regedit". This will open the registry editing tool. You can then search for the registry entry mentioned above and make the changes. For more detailed information, see here http://www.erepairpdf.com/

Hope it helps. Regards
