Product Name: HP 5550DN
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have been ignoring error 64.0 for a few months on a 5550DN with duplexer. I have tried the following from online instructions that has made it worse:

COLD Reset

NVRAM INIT (partial)

NVRAM INIT (full)

After performing the NVRAM Init (partial), Error 49.4c09 also came up and has persisted ever since.

Tried removing 128Mb RAM and booting without RAM, no joy: Would not boot (sic!) Need to patch that tip.

EIO NIC removed, no EIO HD, 128Mb RAM.

System is now stuck. Boots, yields READY, then  Error 68.0, then Error 49.4c09 and will not allow access to after-boot menus.

Suggestions?
