Product Name: LaserJet P3010
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

Whenever I try to print from tray 2, the printer would keep printing from tray 1. Since only tray 2 handles duplex printing, I can't print double-sided documents anymore. This only happens when I'm using OS X, while I had no problems when using Windows, so I suspected a driver issue.

Sometimes, removing the printer and re-adding it would work, but not always. The same goes with reinstalling the drivers.

When I opened the Printer Utility included with the driver, it says that the printer is out of paper and offline, the former of which is usually only true for tray 1, since tray 1 is used for recycled paper. Again, this only happens with the OS X.

I'm hoping that switching to Windows isn't an option, since the Mac user I'm trying to solve this problem for solely uses Mac and would have problems switching to Windows.
