Product Name: color laserjet cp4025
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Since applying the Windows 10 (32 bit) upgrade I am unable to get anything to print to my laserjet. I find myself just going in circles so am now asking for advice.

The printer is connected to the PC via USB. The OS sees the printer. I am able to access all properties, etc. I have removed and added the printer multiple times. I have installed both the full support driver package and the simple USB driver package (Dot4).

At the moment, the HP Print and Scan Doctor is failing at driver check, telling me that some driver files are missing. After downloading and installing the packages from HP (more than once) I don't see how that is possible.  Nothing I do seems to make it happy. At one point in this ordeal, the doctor got past the drivers but failed at port match (which didn't make sense to me) but I've lost track of what I had done to get there.

No errors are provided by the OS. The print jobs just sit in the queue and go nowhere.

I brought my lap top (also 32-bit Windows 10) over and hooked the printer to it but get the same behavior.

Prior to the Windows 10 upgrade, all was working well.

The printer *does* print ... I printed a page using the panel on the printer.

I am at a loss. Any ideas?
