Are bluescreens or lockups plaguing your notebook PC? Maybe you were just working away on an important email when the dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) popped up out of nowhere, causing you to lose an hour or more of work?
Blue or black screens can be caused by a variety of factors. Your notebook might have issues with hardware or drivers, or perhaps there is has been a software install problem.
The good news is that, as I'll show you in this week's featured thread, we are here to help!
Go to this thread, and follow the detailed directions given by Sanchertx in the first post. Once you have emailed your log files as instructed, the HP Online Crash Team will analyze your files. Within a couple of business days, you will receive a response suggesting updates and fixes that will address your notebook's problem. Our team will continue to work with you until the root cause has been determined and your PC is back in working order. Cool, right?
The thread has been very popular so far, and many member's issues are being resolved!
Now it's time to recognize our top posters of the week, since we haven't done it in quite awhile! It was an Expert Day week, so we saw some very strong numbers. Forum vet Paul_Tikkanen grabbed top spot with a whopping 319 posts. He was followed by banhien with 282, and ManjunathTech with 248. Excellent showing everyone. You really do make a difference here; many kudos (& thanks!) to all of you.
Thank you to everyone who helped someone out on the boards this week - we appreciate everything you do for the HP Forum.
