This week's featured post is a success story for two members. Kahless came to the HP Forum looking for help accessing a network printer (connected to an XP PC) using a Windows 7 PC. He had already done his own troubleshooting and downloaded drivers, but he was stumped.
Computing guru, erico, was able to track down an applicable explanation of how to share a printer from an XP PC to a Windows 7 PC on a home network. It worked for Kahless! In his words, "Beautiful! Thank you very much erico. Worked like a charm!"
Here's where the good success story starts to get great. New member, user141, also came to the forum looking for help with the exact some issue. Kahless was able to share tips and advice from his successful experience to also get user141's problem solved. Nice work, all of you! These types of exchanges are one of the reasons the HP Support Forum is so fantastic.
Now, in my last update of 2011, I'd like to share the top 20 posters of the week. Banhien is not new to the #1 spot - this week, he contributed nearly 300 posts to the forum. In 2nd we've got DavidPK with 214 posts, and close on his heels is Mumbodog with 204 posts. Great show, you three.
To anyone who helped another member on the boards this week, and in all of 2011, thank you. We truly appreciate your contributions here. Not only do you make a difference in our members' lives, the HP Support Community is a better place because of YOU. Happy holidays, everyone!
