Hello HP Community Members,
The great thing about having a lively community is that so many interesting conversations happen. It is amazing to read the creative and well-thought out solutions. Since these conversations happen at such a fast and furious pace, we have created a new place to highlight the most interesting post of the week called “Best of the Community.”
As we pore over the daily posts and comments, we will be seeking out the “Best of” posts and threads each week. These will then be featured right here in the Best of The Community. The Post Of The Week will be chosen by our moderators and admins from the thousands of posts made each week. There are no firm criteria used for the selection. It will be based on elements such as innovation, helpfulness, creative, interesting as well other elements that represent "The Best". We also encourage you to let us know about great posts you find that you feel qualify as a great post.
So to get things rolling, see this week’s “Best of the Community”!
I chose this post because it represents great advice, a fantastic solution, and a way to improve a computer to make it even better.
In August of 2009, LovethisPC posted a concern about his computer shutting down. Over the next few months, several people jumped into the thread and offered suggestions or mentioned they were having the same issue, including pkravets starting in July of 2010.
Towards the end of July, PKRAVETS had solved the issue with a great combination of solutions. He recommended a very simple solution for a common dust issue by cleaning the interior of computer to greatly improve performance. He also posted some great research on power supplies and when you might a new one.
Check out and contribute to the conversation here!
Our congratulations go out to PKRAVETS for our very first Post of the Week!
