I chose this thread as "The Best of the Week" because of the multiple options and ideas presented, and the gratitude expressed by Smithkeno when he got his answer. This highlights and show-cases the great group of people here.



Last week, Smithkeno said that his old hard-drive running Vista was on its last legs. He asked the community about what hard-drive to buy, where he should purchase it from, and how best to get Windows 7 installed.



Both Mumbodog and TheOldMan gave great advice. To quote Smithkeno: "THANK YOU  all for your input and help. You have answered my questions 100%"
