GrandmaPatti came to the forum asking for assistance with being able to hear sound from her PC when playing movies. Games and sound from other applications on her PC worked as expected, but nothing when playing a movie.
DavidPK jumped in and offered to help. Over the next 6 days with over 40 posts, DavidPK was able to troubleshoot the problem and suggest a series of troubleshooting steps that eventually solved the problem.
In one of the final posts, GrandmaPatti gives the following praise to DavidPK.
"I HAVE SOUND!!!!!!!! I think in trying to solve the problem and returning to defaults ~ these somehow were altered. You will never know how very much I appreciate all your patient help!! You've taught me so much in the process!!! You've directed me to trouble shooting sites and processes I never knew existed!!! If I ever have another glitch ~ and I'm sure I will ~ I do hope you're there to help!! YOU ARE GREAT!!!!!! Thank you SO much for all you've done!!! Grandma Patti"
Our Kudo's and Thanks go to DavidPK for his great assistance. This truly was, The Post Of The Week! You can read the thread, here.
