What you do depends on what you are trying to accomplish, I think.

Scratches are not covered by Warranty.

You can do what ever you like to the case that doesn't impact performance, safety, or operation of the computer.

For example,

If daughter is an artist and this is actually HER computer,

Purchase some paint appropriate for the surface (for example, plastic or metal),

Let your daughter paint the computer case as she likes.

Caveats

Best plan is to ask her (or help her) to draw out a pattern so you can see what she plans.

Stay involved in the process...

and

If you don't know what kind of paint to use, take the computer to a art store and ask for help.

There are non-reactive paints that can be used safely on most surfaces and are safe to use by children with supervision.

If the computer is not really daughter's to embellish,

consider getting some matching colored paint - Very carefully use the paint fill in the scratched area.

Or - get a sleeve for the computer that hides the blemish and protects against future damage.

Or - ignore the scratch and count it as "experience".

Or...

Cosmetic repair can be what you think suits the purpose.

Hate all of these?

Ignore.
