I have no idea where to post this without disrupting existing topics, so I'll just ask my question:
When in the HP forum, all the posts contained in threads are displayed in a linear chronological order and I cannot find a way to change this. Because of the strict, linear-chronological layout, it's almost impossible for me to determine which post is in response to other posts (i.e. a response can be 8 posts beyond the post to which it responded...but no indication of which post it responded to).
I've tried to change my settings in my forum account, but no luck. Is anybody able to actually view posts in the forum as "threaded" and if so, how did you do it?
Thanks!

Hmm, I tried to change my preferences but I couldn't see how.
Everytime I hit Save I get: An Unexpected Error has occurred.
But it seems to take the changes, except changing to threaded order.
Save seens to work in all the other settings tabs.

Note: on some Lithium forums I've seen this work but never use it. I want strict date order.
Hmm, other forums had a nicely indented list by posts.
It seems sorting by topics does work but you would never know it except the dates aren't in order any more.
Also on the post page, there is a Topic Options that you can change to Sort by Topics.

Response to Dennis_Handly:
I get the same error as you "An Unexpected Error has occurred" and it saves settings except for the "threaded" option. I'll try to play with some more settings as time permits.
Thanks for the response. If I get it to work I'll post again here.
Have a great day!
T
