My grandfather ordered this printer directly from HP to replace his old HP photo printer and I helped him set it up and tried to print some photos. Right away the photos were skewed when printed and the printer kept drawing in multiple sheets of photo paper. Called tech support, and after 2 hours of troubleshooting and with the tech (and the troubleshooting took up nearly all of the printer ink) he decided that the problem was with the printer and he transfered me to someone who could help replace it. Once I was transfered, the new person said she was having computer difficulties and she would call me back in 15 minutes. Well, I waited for 20 minutes, but no phone call. I called back with the reference # and reached a new tech named Priya. Priya continuously quit talking for 5 or more minutes, said they would only replace the photo tray, and initially refused to replace any of the ink they had made us use up. Finally, after another hour and lots of arguing, Priya agreed to replace the ink also and have the parts shipped here in 2-3 business days. This printer could be great if it works correctly, but if it breaks or is faulty, dealing with the support personnel just isn't worth it. Trying to replace any part of this printer just gets you the run-around.
