This is probably dumb, but I cannot figure out how to change my email address here, or with HP in general. Or how to talk with an actual human being who works for HP. They must have some employees, I'd think.

I suppose I can just sign up with a new account, abandoning the old one. But I thought I'd ask here first. Anyone know?

Thanks.

Thanks, Mans. But that doesn't work. I tried that before I posted my question here.

It simply won't let me enter a different email address. I can't do anything at all with the old, "verified" email address there. I can't delete it. I can't type over it. It's apparently fixed.

I can change my password, if I want. But unless I'm missing something - which is certainly possible - I can't change my email address.

OK, that did it. HP doesn't like Firefox, I guess.

Thanks for the help!

It's funny, but HP still used my old email address to send me notification of your comment. (I can still receive mail there, just not send it.)

I can log in with the new address now. And I don't see the old address anywhere in my profile. So I suppose it's just connected to this particular thread. No big deal, anyway.

Thanks again for the help.

Hi @WCG45,

I'd like to help!

The email address update takes about 24-48 hrs.

But, if you are still receiving emails from HP to your old email then I recommend you contact the HP Phone Support team for assistance.

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

1) Click on this link - https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.

6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

And, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Yup. The notification of this comment came to my new email address. So I just didn't give it enough time, I guess.

Thanks!
