Is there some magic number of posts I need to make in order to get a simple question answered? Or do you just not want to admit you don't have an answer? I even tried the bot on FB because I was tired of being ignored. I get that my printer is old, but it still works. If I do have to replace it when I finally upgrade to Windows 11, I probably won't get an HP.

No, there is no magic number of posts required to get a response.
We are not afraid to admit we do not have all the answers.
Our Community Experts are people like yourself - capable, smart, educated, and caring about others.
True - support for older printers that are no longer supported is a challenge.
Is your printer supported in Windows 11?
I don't know.
Last printer software was released in 2015.

My opinion is that it is time to upgrade your printer.
My opinion is that the printer is barely supported in Windows 10 and it is likely to have issues regardless.
Certainly if the printer is not listed in the supported devices list, it is not tested and might have problems.

True - there are thousands of "you" asking questions and a very few of us who regularly answer questions.
Being ignored is perhaps simply a consequence not having an answer that would be helpful to you.
Absolutely you should next purchase a printer that you want and need - AND for which you feel you can get the support you want from those who can help.
Every major printer manufacturer, including HP, produces decent products. Pay close attention to features, remember that you get what you pay for - less expensive printers are less expensive for a reason.

YUP. I literally just posted the below because I wasn’t able to get assistance either.
How is it that I posted a question, then had +10 people post questions as well and see that my inquiry was skipped over multiple times? I looked at the ones also posted from the same day I posted and some of those are also skipped. It’s like the “Experts” are picking and choosing which inquires to reply to and skipping over others. HORRIBLE customer service.

Thank you for replying. I did suspect it might not be compatible, but wanted some confirmation. I guess it is kind of surprising the printer still works now, though the ink tends to come out faint. And I'm not sure if the ink indicator is broken or if it really is just running through ink very fast- it's not like I use it every day.
I'm not updating yet, but as you said, I'll pay attention to price and features when I'm ready. Still have to figure out if I want to stick with the familiar brand or try a new one.
