Hey guys I was gifted a hp laptop for Christmas, Which was three months ago. I got a green screen on February 19th and then my laptop wouldn't boot up/ was turning on then off. I still had a 9-month warranty so I sent it to a hp service center near me that was around March 3rd. They SAID it would be ready on March 15th then called and said they fixed it but now they called and said it wouldn't be ready till April 15th. That's an entire month later, I have considered maybe they are waiting for a part because I have checked repair status and it says part pending but why would they say it was already fixed then? Is Hp's service just terrible or is there something actually wrong with my computer because I looked it up and people say hp customer service is the worst and I need to know am I ever getting my laptop back???

Hi@ngeasiaaa,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Laptop and looking for the status on the repair. I sincerely apologize for the experience that you had with our customer service team. Going forward, we are going to take steps to ensure that this situation does not happen again.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out.

An email will be sent to you with status updates once repair is done. You will also receive text messages for shipment updates.

You can also check the status of your order by going to www.hp.com/repair

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you for the advice I appreciate it, I have checked the repair status multiple times a day and I know the status of my repair "part pending" the only difference is now I have to wait a whole month later and I was supposed to receive a loaner but never did. I am not comfortable with waiting this long I need my computer for School.

UPDATE: So first the date was March 15 then April 15 and now order status says it's repaired and on its way, I guess I should be happy. Except that yesterday at like 11 am they said they were waiting for a mainboard and now it's just magically fixed? I don't understand. I feel like they didn't actually repair it and that I'm gonna have to call them back to complain...fingers crosses that its fixed guys.
