This morning I viewed the Envy x360 13-ay0008ca on the HP Canada Store and decided to order it. It said “In stock and ready to ship for free”, listed as $949.00 CAD, and I also got the 2 year warranty for $170 CAD. I was excited to order the new laptop, but immediately after I successfully placed the order and received email confirmation, I checked the order status and it said “order cancelled”. It still says the order is cancelled, but the charge is still pending. I’ve seen some other forum posts saying similar things have happened to them, and am wondering if maybe the laptop is actually out of stock but just not appearing as so. If so, should I dispute the charge or am I actually going to receive the laptop I paid for?
