I placed an order with HP on 03/31/22. After checking out as a guest I clicked the link on the confirmation page to create an account to track my order. I created the account and it took about 2 hours for my order to finally show on the account. I was supposed to receive a confirmation email as soon as my order processed (24-48 hours according to the confirmation page) here we are on 04/14/22 with no confirmation email. My order was expected to ship on 04/21/22. I went to log in to my account and it now says no account exists and made me create a new one. On the order tracking page it says to log out and enter the order information to track the status. I have my order number as well as the email and phone number I used but when I enter that information it says it does not match any information they have. Naturally I'm not getting responses from HP and money was taken from my account on 03/31/22. Was I scammed by HP? Did they steal my money and then delete my order and account? Unless their website has some major issues it appears I was a victim of FRAUD from a supposedly respected company. Has anyone else had an experience like this?

So I’ve still not been contacted. however I finally was able to locate my order but it has since been delayed once already and is scheduled to ship in 2 days but according to the order status screen it is still in the “gathering components” phase. I have called HP over 10 times now and been rudely hung up on each time. I’ve sent emails and cannot seem to get a reason why it’s delayed or an actual time frame on when I will have the item I PAID FOR! the only reason I ordered from HP was because the websites estimated shipping date was sooner that I could have gotten it anywhere else at the time but now I deeply regret ordering from this THIEVING COMPANY if I had gone with someone else I would have 100% had my order already. I know this because a friend of mine ordered an almost identical computer from another company and has had it for about 3 weeks now.

I would advise that NO ONE purchase anything from HP. This is honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had trying to get my order. Their customer service are rude and have ZERO knowledge. They send the same generic replies over and over without ever actually helping anyone. To make it worse, one of their chat agents that I was not disconnected from asked me to send a screenshot of my bank account where the item had been paid for. I will NOT under any circumstances put a screenshot of my bank account in a chat box to some random person. It was very unprofessional and honestly sketchy to say the least. This company STEALS MONEY FROM HARD WORKING AMERICANS and how they’ve gotten away with it baffles me. I’m now out $1000 on an order that likely will never go further than the “gathering components” phase. HP should be ashamed of how they treat their customers and never again will I spend money at this company.
