HP Deskjet 3755, J9V86-64003
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Trying to register my product but system does not recognize my serial number.

I have no idea what to do with that because restyling the serial number that’s printed on the label on the back of the printer just doesn’t work. I tried to register it at the time I bought is, but ran into the same issues and just quit in frustration because I actually have other work I need to get done.

Also VERY frustrated with a system that just seems to loop me through a bunch of stuff that never leads to a solution.

I hope someone can help.

@Lukasify-1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Print a Printer Status Report to check and verify the serial number

Press and hold the Cancel button  for 3 seconds.

A Printer Status Report prints.

Visit this page to register the printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
