HP 2009m monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I replaced my HP Envy x360 (2016 Version) with an HP Envy x360 (2020 Version).  I was using an HP 2009m monitor with the older PC and hooked it up to the new PC.  Discovered it doesn't work as quickly with the new PC as it did with the old PC.  The monitor is 2009 technology.  There aren't any drivers for the 2009m used with the Windows 10 OS.  I used HP Chat looking for a replacement monitor in the $100 range and was told that the only compatible monitors for the HP Envy x360 cost $375 & up.  That is 100% pure bovine excrement of the highest odor.  My opinion of the value of HP Product support just dropped a bunch.  I asked for a replacement with a less than 22" display and a cost in the $100 dollar range and got a recommendation for products costing 4 times that amount.  HP says anything less could damage my HP Envy PC - yeah, right.

HP Support does not do Drivers on their YouTube channel they even have a link that says "what if I cant find a driver..." the solution includes contact the manufacturer of the device, and Microsoft.

At the very least HP needs to inform users when the driver for upgrades is not available BEFORE the user attempts to upgrade. Any thing less is disrespectful of the clients time investment in the HP products. And, that quality standard defines repeat customer count.

😀  You said "the solution includes contact the manufacturer of the device, and Microsoft."  I did; the 2009m monitor is an HP product.  Great advise from HP - NOT.

Lets start a survey for Customer Support :

1= worst,

2= bad

3 = good

4 = best

I vote "2".  AT&T Customer Non-support is actually the worst I've ever had to suffer through.  😁
