DO NOT BUY HP PRINTERS! I purchased a 6500 model all-in one on July 19, 2009. The machine broke on October 22, 2010, a few months after the one-year warranty expired. The part that broke was the print head. When I pulled it out of the machine, I noted that the part had an expiration date of 2/17/2009...5 MONTHS BEFORE THEY EVEN SOLD THE PRINTER TO ME. I tried calling 3 different reps at HP trying to explain how they sold a defective product with expired parts. They kept on telling me I needed to pay for a service agreement before they would even listen to me!! So disappointed. I have always been a big fan of HP for the last 30+ years. NOT ANYMORE!! We all know there isn't a good printer on the market by any manufacturer that lasts more than 18 months to a year without breaking - but I will buy any one of them not manufactureed by HP before I will buy another HP!! Sign me a VERY DISAPPOINTED CONSUMER! Linda Zielinski
