Hey there @pepsiboy60411

Thank you for joining in on the HP Support Forums and Welcome! This is a great place to ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! I read your post on the HP Support Forums.

I watched the video you had posted on YouTube. If I understand correctly, you upgraded to Windows 10 and now you are getting an error that says "The Boot Configuration Data for your PC is missing or contains errors".

The error code that came up with this specific error is: 0xc0000185. I seen/heard that you were trying different options to try and get the Notebook to work.

Have you tried to do any hardware testing in the bios?

What were the specific results?

Have you tried to boot from Recovery discs?

Do you have recovery media?

Did you happen to back everything up before you did the Windows 10 upgrade?

I did some extensive research and found steps on a Microsoft Community Forums thread called The boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contains errors. It has some methods to try that may be helpful to you.

If you require further assistance, I would be more than happy to help! Please just re-post with the information required from above. Please let me know the detailed results of the troubleshooting steps provided.

Thank you!
