I have my recovery media.  I also have a full set I just purchased from HP.  Neither works for a repair when WinRe is not working.  The only thing that is capable if fixing this (without a full recover)is a Win 7 install disk.  HP will not give me (or sell me) one, and neither will Microsoft.  I played by the rules, have made every required recovery disk, I encountered one issue with an upgrade to Win10 that caused all of this.  I don't appreciate you behemoth's pointing the finger at each other, while leaving me to twist in the wind.
