Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Dear all,

I need to connect the laptop to a HDMI TV and therefore I purchased a HP Display port to HDMI cable adapter P/N: 612873. It is not working.

I phoned HP service, they recommend to me to download the HP Softpaq download manager and update my laptop.

After doing this, still I can not see images on the TV.

I know the TV is working, because other laptops like Asus, Toshiba are connected to the TV and works fine.

Does anybody know what should I do?
