Just purchased a HP Stream 8 and am wondering if the issue I am having is isolated to my device or does it affect others as well.
The problem I have is that there is an insane amount of stagelight/light leak around the display.
It's not just a small amount in one place but covers an entire edge (short edge) and all corners.
The corners seem to be the worst part as it extends 1/2" from corner toward the center of the screen.
While not as much a problem if bright colors are displayed, but a real pain when trying to videos from Netflix or Hulu or any dark colors in the affected areas.
I saw the same issue on a HP Stream 7 I had and returned it for the Stream 8 as it was too distracting.
So I was hoping of some community could give me an idea of how prevalent this may be before I decide to exchange the one I have or just return it outright.
