Product Name: OfficeJet 6500 d607n
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Had this problem on several OfficeJets, Windows 7 and 10. This problem been around for 4 years or more. Still HP wont come up with a solution. I spent about 8 hours over 3 days with an HP support tech on the phone he couldnt fix the problem.

The message window comes up at boot time, or running the scan doctor.

Why cant such a unbiquos problem be fixed?  Gee...isnt this what the print scan doctor is for, or isnt this what copetent SW should not do, and no need for a Hack-patch like a concept like scan doctor.

No wonder HP stock is in the dust bin, for now on I'll buy Epson.

I WAS an HP Employee for 27 years.

What I'd like to see is HP post, 'we've modified the Print/Scan Doctor to fix this problem once and for all', not 22 steps: running this utiliy, regedits, rm file bdp, ....re-install, install (which takes forever)...I've done it all --- still no fix.
