Savi 8445 OFFICE

Issue: Headset works perfectly with Shoretel(Mitel) 655 deskphone so long as usb cable is disconnected. Soon as I connect the usb cable the headset just beeps in ear and connects to nothing.

 

  • Even if I make a call and then put phone to headset, the savi will not turn on even pushing the physical deskphone button on the base.
  • The default is set to deskphone and it even verifies with a green dot on the lcd screen under the deskphone icon. I can recreate the issue endlessly. I unplug the usb cable and it just works no power cycle on anything needed.
  • Poly Lens software is installed and the unit is fully updated to version: 21.1.11.2

It has a TIC cable connected to the headset port on the Shoretel(Mitel) 655 phone

 

So my current solution has been unplug the usb cable when I don't need it and just connect as needed.

Same issue here purchased 4 of these and they are all doing the same thing I am using a GrandStream gxp2170 can replicate on all of them. Also having issues with the headset volume not staying the same for each call after hanging up headset volume goes to low. Have updated to latest firmware if I cannot get a resolution, I plan on returning all of them.

One other note we are using a headset lifter.

I also noticed that the teams light stays on all the time when plugged into the USB I also opened a support case and they dropped the chat after I told them what was wrong, and they closed the case I DO NOT THINK ANYONE FROM HP IS LISTENING.
