Hi. I have a 2018 T120 large format (A4 / A3 / A2 / A1) printer for CAD. Worked beautifully for 6 years. Now an alert message - 'cartridge not recognised, load new cartridge.' I see HP note this is a firmware issue, but I have tried using the printer's auto-update facility (nothing happens), tried using the HP printer utility and a firmware download from HP (MacOS 14 Sonoma will not let me open the firmware as 'it may contain viruses'). At present I am faced with spending £800+ for a new printer because of a software glitch from HP that I cannot correct. Any suggestions? Thank you.

You can download and manually install latest firmware but only for Win OS
